Bucket lists are important things…. And this little lady takes her seriously! 85 years after the rest of her class graduated, Marie finally gets her diploma and is loving it!

Marie Hunt was unable to attend high school due to the long commute and family obligations, so she had to drop out in the 8th grade. That was in the 1920’s.  Now residing in an assisted living home, she mentioned to one of her RN’s that her biggest regret was not attaining her diploma. This is where it gets extra sweet! The RN contacted a local high school, and the two of them got to work on getting Marie an honorary diploma! The extended care facility held a small graduation and the school board supervisor, principal and some teachers even attended!
