Caroll Spinney has performed as Big Bird and Oscar on Sesame Street since the show launched in 1969, almost half a century ago…45 years!!

Caroll called into KiSS 92.5 to chat with Roz & Mocha about a new documentary about his life called ‘I Am Big Bird.’

‘I Am Big Bird’ follows Spinney’s journey from a somewhat difficult childhood, his father had abusive tendencies, and he was picked on in school, to becoming a childhood icon!

The documentary opens Friday at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema!
