Okay… maybe not a fact, but you know when you’re phone is at 1% and you have no other choice but to charge it on the London train….

The list of phone situations that have happened over the course of this summer is insane and YES it is still growing! Robin Lee was on a London Overground train traveling from Hackney Wick to Camden Road when his phone DIED…

So naturally, he charged it on the train!! Seems pretty harmless, right?! WRONG!! He was arrested on Friday for “abstracting electricity” since the outlets in the train carriages are for cleaners use only.

Lee was spotted charging his phone by a community support officer who ordered four officers to arrest him when they arrived at the next stop. Lee said that…

“It was an overzealous community support officer. They should never have arrested me, they knew it was ridiculous. The whole thing was just ridiculous.”

Thankfully for Lee, they did realize that it was a little ridiculous and “de-arrested” him later that day when he arrived at the British Transport Police base. Police said they would review Lee’s behaviour before sending details of the case to the Crown Prosecution Service who would decide if any charges should be pressed.

The London police are watching you Robin Lee… and apparently everyone else in London!!!!
