Only clumsy people would understand.

It was suppose to be a lesson in Italian art, but instead this 12 year-old boy’s tour to a local museum turned into a life lesson in being a klutz.

The boy was visiting The Face of Leonardo: Images of a Genius exhibition in Taiwan with his mom. Security footage captured the boy walking through the gallery, holding a drink (which is usually not allowed in galleries for reasons like this!).

The video then shows the boy stumble and as he puts his arms out to catch himself, he punches a 17th century oil painting, leaving a MASSIVE hole in the artwork!

The artwork was “Flowers”, by Italian master Paolo Porpora and is about 350 years old and valued at around $1.5 million!!!

Way to go, kid.

This is the million-dollar painting (before the kid ruined it…)

After realizing he had left his mark, the size of a fist, the boy just stands there, starting at the art and looking around, and it’s the most awkward thing ever.

Now he better thank his lucky stars because he doesn’t need to pay for all the damage, since all the paintings were insured.

This is one trip this 12 year old will never forget!

Check out the security video below!
