A Girl in the U.K. Lost Her Stomach After Taking One Shot

Next time just have a tequila shot. A U.K. girl was forced to have her stomach removed after taking a Nitro-Jägermeister shot at a bar.

Nitro-Jägermeister is a liquid nitrogen cocktail that is served while the liquid nitrogen smokes up your entire table. Gaby Scanlon, decided to have one of these hoity-toity drinks for her 18th birthday back in 2012, and it did not end well. Feel free to play LMFAO while reading the rest of this blog:

The bartender failed to tell Gaby that she has to wait for the liquid nitrogen to die down before taking the shot. Gaby ended up ingesting nitrogen and was in a hospital that night having her stomach removed and her oesophagus connected to her small bowel. Gaby told a judge,

“I turned to the [bar]man and asked if it was OK to drink. He said “yes.” Smoke was coming from my nose and mouth. Straight away I knew something was not right. My stomach expanded. The manager said nothing about waiting for it to die down.”

Oscar’s Wine Bar Ltd was sued and fined $100,000 for sending Gaby to the hospital. This entire problem could have been solved if everyone just sticked to taking tequila shots #SMH.
