Sarah Jessica Parker Receives Treadmill, Takes It In Stride

HEY GIFT GIVERS, a treadmill is never an appropriate gift. Just an FYI.

People can be jerks, and Sarah Jessica Parker, met a big one when she was getting ready to film the movie Honeymoon in Vegas back in 1992. She said, “I was about do Honeymoon In Vegas and before that I was off to do another movie in Iowa and the producer of Honeymoon In Vegas was very concerned about me being fit for Honeymoon In Vegas so they sent a treadmill to Iowa.”

Parker had a pretty good reaction to this kinda offensive gift, she ran, she ran all night and day. Parker said, “I would very diligently go out every single day and run like a lunatic to this song. And then when I went to Iowa, on the treadmill, I would continue to run to the song. And then we went to Vegas and I had a treadmill also in my room and I would get up every morning and run.”

What song did she run to? The forever classic, 1990 smash-hit, Everybody Dance Now.

So if you ever receive a treadmill as a gift, just take it in stride, and dance!
