Newlyweds Carly Baker, 30 and Chris Fee, 29 missed their honeymoon because, well, the airline agent said her passport was “damaged”.

Mr. and Mrs. Fee headed over to Philadelphia International Airport just two days after they got married only to be rejected. They’ve been planning and saving for years to enjoy their adventurous trip to Greece, Rome and other major cities. The best time of their life was simply ruined by an insensitive airline manager. Carly’s passport was apparently “too damaged” to use, with a few strings fraying from the passport.

To make matters worst, when Carly was approached by a second employee, she was told her passport was flagged and was unable to lift the restriction. Government issued passports are technically allowed basic wear and tear which is common and expected. Although Carly was able to re-apply for her passport, she’s $2000 dollars short from cancelations and many memories lost.

How annoying, was this all really necessary?
