A few weeks ago, I posted about the videos that could be the next to reach a billion views. Well Adele blew all of them out of the water!

Of the videos that had a chance of hitting the billion view club next, she wasn’t the only one to hit the mark.

 

  • Adele ‘Hello’ (reached 1 billion!)
  • Eminem ‘Love The Way You Lie’ feat Rihanna (reached 1 billion!)
  • Maroon 5 ‘Sugar’ (reached 1 billion!)

 

However, Adele absolutely destroyed everyone when it comes to how fast she reached a billion views. It took just 88 days for her to reach the magic number…crushing the old record of 159 days by PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’.

This song will continue to break records and could potentially be on her way to catching PSY, who sits at 2.5 billion views for ‘Gangnam Style’. Congrats Adele!!
