There have been plenty of years when the wrong movie won the Best Picture Oscar.

“Business Insider” did a list of the 10 worst movies to win Best Picture, and the movies that SHOULD HAVE won instead.

Here it is:

 

1. “Shakespeare in Love”, 1998. But the winner should have been: “Saving Private Ryan”.

2. “How Green was My Valley”, 1941. But the winner should have been: “Citizen Kane”.

3. “Crash”, 2005. But the movie that should have won was: “Brokeback Mountain”.

4. “Dances with Wolves”, 1990. But the movie that should have won was: “Goodfellas”.

5. “Argo”, 2012. But the movie that should have won was: “Zero Dark Thirty”.

6. “Chicago”, 2002. But the movie that should have won was: “The Pianist”.

7. “The King’s Speech”, 2010. Should have won: “The Social Network”

8. “Titanic”, 1997. But the movie that should have won was: “L.A. Confidential”.

9. “Ordinary People”, 1980. But the movie the should have won was: “Raging Bull”.

10. “Around the World in 80 Days”, 1956. But the winner should have been: “The Ten Commandments”.
