A Teaser for "Star Wars 8" and New Casting News

BENICIO DEL TORO, LAURA DERN, and an unknown actress named Kelly Marie Tran have been added to the cast of “Star Wars 8”.
There’s no word yet on their characters. However it should be noted that Laura has experience working with weird, funny-looking creatures. She’s dated Nicolas Cage, Jeff Goldblum, and Billy Bob Thornton.

Meanwhile, a mini-teaser was released yesterday, showing the final moment of “The Force Awakens”, where Rey hands Luke his light saber. It’s followed by a shot of the crew, apparently filming in that same spot, as someone says, quote, “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ‘Episode 8’.”
So yeah, production is underway NOW, and the movie is due in theaters in December of 2017.
