A Cheerleader Asked a Kid with Autism to Prom

This happened last month, but a bunch of websites just picked it up.  A cheerleader at a high school near West Palm Beach, Florida asked a kid with autism to prom, and his reaction was pretty great.

She gave him a cookie cake that said, “Will you go to the prom with me,” and he just started screaming because he was so excited.
