The world has finally been given one good reason to watch a Michael Bay movie. In a series of tweets, Bay explains how he came across the ‘World’s Loneliest Dog’ and decided to put her into his next film:

Before Bay’s campaign, Freya had been housed at Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre for over 6 years and had been passed on around 18,000 times.

Bay offered to take Freya home after her big movie debut if she still hadn’t found a home. But as TMZ reports, the shelter has already received at least one hundred applications for Freya. So it looks like she’ll be in a good home very, very soon. 🙂
