Lady Gaga revealed today during an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 that she will drop a new album, titled Joanne that will be released it on October 21st!

Gaga revealed earlier in the day that she had big news to share prior to her Zane Lowe interview, and she didn’t disappoint!

Here’s what we know so far about Joanne…

The album is named after her aunt, who passed away at age 19 from lupus. Also, Gaga’s own middle name is Joanne. (Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.)

Gaga has already released the first single ‘Perfect Illusion’.

She also told BBC Radio 1 in an interview last week that she is also collaborating with Florence Welch on a song called, ‘Hey Girl’. She said, “I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see why when you see what the song is about.”

She continued: “I just thought, ‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really, to me, if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible.”
