Country Music Television (CMT) just released the first promotional clip for season 5 of Nashville!

Nashville was picked up by the  it was canceled by ABC back in May.

Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere and Charles Esten all return to the series; also confirmed for Season 5 are Will Chase, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen, Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella, Chris Carmack and Aubrey Peeples (via Entertainment Weekly).

When we last saw Nashville, ‘Juliette’ (played by Panettiere) was on a plane that lost radio contact and it looks as though next season is going to be full of even more drama.

Season 5 will have 22 episodes and will premiere on January 5th, 2017! Here’s another sneak peak!
