The 2016 American Music Awards went down last night from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and despite a bit of an awkward opening monologue from hosts Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah, performances from Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Justin Beiber, The Chainsmokers and Lady Gaga, more than made up for it!

Ariana Grande won the big award of the evening taking home ARTIST OF THE YEAR!
