After a monumental 2016 which saw them release two massive singles, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ (featuring singer Daya) and ‘Closer’ (featuring Halsey); the latter was the longest reigning #1 song on Billboard’s Hot 100 song in 2016,  Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall (a.k.a. The Chainsmokers) are back with a new song, called ‘Paris’!

The guys released the single at midnight on Friday along with a lyric video that stars model Alexis Ren.

The duo actually premiered ‘Paris’ while performing in Los Angeles a few weeks ago, and fans have been clamouring since then for the EDM duo to release the song.

‘Paris’ is the first Chainsmokers song without a featured vocalist since the group’s song ‘New York City’, that song contained uncredited vocals by singer Brittany Amaradio.

‘Paris’ also features uncredited female vocals, but much like ‘Closer’ Andrew Taggart takes the lead vocal on the song.

The Chainsmokers just signed a 3 year Las Vegas residency to play at the Wynn hotel.

Alex Pall from The Chainsmokers says, “We are so thrilled to have this residency at the Wynn.  “They represent the best of what Las Vegas has to offer and we look forward to a great partnership.”

The residency kicked off last Friday and is currently booked solid through Friday, May 12th, 2017.
