Megan Mullally, who played Karen Walker, guest appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and said that all of the cast members didn’t even realize that the revival was going to happen until recently.

She goes on to say, “We didn’t even really know officially until a day before yesterday that it was really officially real, for real, coming back.  It’s so weird, but they happened to have on them the whole Will & Grace living room set.”

In a statement that was made by NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, he says,  “We’re thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and most defining comedies in NBC history is coming back.  This groundbreaking series for everything from gay rights to social and political commentary- all disguised as a high-speed train of witty pop culture- is coming back where it belongs.”

Will and Grace is expected to air later on in 2017.
