Mariah Carey has officially announced that her 1994 hit, All I Want For Christmas Is You is becoming an animated movie!
To this day, millions of people around the world still blast her Christmas hit but now in 2017, the iconic song will turn into a movie.

The movie will be directed by Guy Vasilovich and the script written by Temple Mathews.  

 

The plot: The movie will expand on Mariah’s children’s book that was released in 2015 and under the same name.  A young Mariah who comes across a puppy named Princess and decides that all she wants for Christmas is the puppy.  However, in order to get the puppy, Mariah has to prove that she can pet-sit a dog named Jack, a dog that turns Mariah’s Christmas upside down.  

 

Mariah will narrate the film and the film will feature voices from Henry Winkler, Lacey Chabert, Phil Morris, Laya Hayes, Keiko Agena and Breanna Yde as young Mariah.

 

Mariah and her manager, Stella Bulochnikov, will take the role as executive producers and they will work along with Mike Young and Splash Entertainment.  

 

As of right now, All I Want For Christmas Is You does not have an official release date but the trailer implies that it’ll be coming Holiday 2017.
