When Nomani Kordei stepped onto the ballroom dance floor, not only did she perform beautifully but, she also had an appearance from her Fifth Harmony girls.

This week on Dancing with the Stars, it was ‘Most Memorable Year’ and so for Normani, she picked the year of 2012, when she auditioned for X Factor and joined Fifth Harmony.  Not only did Normani dedicate her performance to her entire family but she also dedicated her performance to 5H.

Before Normani performed the rumba with her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, she sang the opening part to Shontelle’s ‘Impossible’, followed by the rest of Fifth Harmony.  You might remember the song ‘Impossible’ … it was performed many times when the girls were on X Factor.  After Normani’s performance, she walked toward her bandmates and they all brought it in for a hug.

“It was such a special moment.  I wouldn’t be in the position that I’m in without these beautiful girls and I recognize that. They make up [for] all of my weaknesses, and I thank them for that.” – Normani to co-host Erin Andrews.

Val also shared, “I’ve been on tour with them for three weeks now.  It’s a beautiful thing to see them collectively celebrate each other’s individuality.”

Afterwards, Normani and Val scored a total of 32 out of 40 on their performance.
