A new study done by Iowa State University has proven that people who run for one hour are boosting their life span by seven hours.

Researchers from the university say that running “60 minutes a week was the most effective exercise for extending your life. It doesn’t matter how far you or how fast you run, your risk of premature death gets cut by up to 40% once you start running.” They also found that runners live approximately three years longer than non-runners.

Basically all those laps from gym class were actually saving our lives.
