24 students from Parss Wood High School decided they wanted to pay tribute to the victims of last week’s horrific terrorist attack at Manchester Arena, the site of the Ariana Grande concert, so they covered one of her songs, ‘My Everything’.

The students recorded their cover and created a fundraising page for the victims and their respective families; they were able to raise over $4,000 (their goal was $2,000).

Now, they’ve been asked to perform at Sunday’s ‘One Love Manchester’ benefit concert (which aims to help victims’ families as well) along with superstars Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, Coldplay and many more.

The students teacher, Daniel McDwyer told The Times that the students were “delighted” to be asked to perform and said that he’s “so, so proud. Love you Manchester. Going to be such a beautiful tribute.”

One of the students, Shauna Burns actually attended the show and said, “It’s so surreal. You do not think one second you are going to see a performer and then the next be on stage with her.”

All proceeds from ‘One Love Manchester’ will go directly to the ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’ in partnership with the British Red Cross.
