PRIDE WEEKEND 2017

 

A beautiful Pride weekend here in Toronto kicks off with the Trans March that takes place on Friday and begins at Church and Hayden Streets; the parade will make its way along Bloor Street, then head south on Yonge and then east on Carlton towards Allan Gardens.

A rally will start at 6:30pm and the parade starts at 7:00pm.

Trans women of colour and people with different abilities are encouraged to lead the March.

Then on Saturday it’s the Dyke March where women and trans people in the LGBTQ community will take to the streets to celebrate diversity and strength of their identities.

The march begins at 1:00pm with a rally at Church Street and Hayden Street with the march kicking off at 2:00pm.

Then on Sunday it’s the main event, the Pride Parade!

Expect a beautiful display of performances, floats, marchers, and a colourful display of all types of personalities.

Our very own Damnit Maurie and Jax will be on hand with the KiSS Crew so if you see them, make sure you say hello!

The parade starts at 2:00pm at Bloor and Church.

KiSS CREW AT CANADA’S WONDERLAND

Kayla will be LIVE at Canada’s Wonderland this weekend with the KiSS Crew both Saturday and Sunday. Kayla will be their from 10:00AM until 2:00PM, while the KiSS Crew will be there from open to close with your chance to win $1000 cash!!

DJ NoLuv (from the KiSS After Party) will also be on hand spinning some SICK tunes throughout the day!

 

NNXE PORT LANDS MUSIC FESTIVAL

The annual event returns to Toronto for the second year and will feature performances from Post Malone, Passion Pit and KAYTRANADA!

Festival takes place from Friday to Sunday.

TORONTO CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL

It wouldn’t be a summer weekend in Toronto if there wasn’t a beer festival happening and on Friday and Saturday you can check out the Toronto Craft Beer Festival taking place at Ontario Place.

Attendees can try a variety of beers and ciders as well as food and games!

It’s a 19+ event.
