Growing up, if you were a fan of The Backstreet Boys, then you might feel a LITTLE old right about now (I know I do) because … their 1997 album, Backstreet’s Back turns 20 YEARS OLD!!!!

This album is probably my FAV BSB album and in case you forgot, a lot of their major hits came from this very album including Backstreet’s Back, All I Have To Give and As Long As You Love Me (BTW … still trying to master the chair scene from the video … yeahhhhh so NOT happening).

The Backstreet Boys included Nick Carter (my fav. member for all of my childhood), Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson.  Formed in Orlando Florida, BSB dropped their first album, Backstreet Boys in 1996 and since then, have sold over 130 million records worldwide and are the best-selling boy band in HISTORY.

AJ says, “I think it’s pretty awesome that today, 20 years ago, our first U.S. album was released and here we are now, 20 years later, selling out Wrigley Field. God bless you guys.  I want to thank you guys for helping us create this 20th anniversary for Backstreet’s first album.”

Howie adds, “You guys are the heart and soul of the group. You guys are the Backstreet army and happy anniversary to you too.”

The album was originally released Aug. 11, 1997 and to this day, I still remember when they dropped the first music video for it. I would watch it 100x a day, trying to learn the dance routine and eventually, I got it!!!
