Parking tickets can be a pain, and disputing them can be even more of a hassle because as of right now they are processed through our court system, which can take a VERY long time.

But that is set to change!

The City of Toronto will introduce the Administrative Parking System (APS) which will allow drivers to dispute tickets through an online portal; APS is set to begin August 28th.

The purpose is to free up the court system and make parking disputes and payments more efficient.

Drivers who were issued tickets before August 28th will unfortunately still have to go through the court system and drivers who are currently awaiting a court date will not be affected by this news.

It should be noted that the system will NOT be changing for any driver who chooses not to fight a parking ticket and just pay their fine.

You can pay your parking ticket at any one of the following locations:

  • Metro Hall, 55 John St., 3rd Floor
  • City Hall, 100 Queen St. W., Main Floor
  • North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge St., Lower Level
  • York Civic Centre, 2700 Eglinton Ave. W., Main Floor
  • East York Civic Centre, 850 Coxwell Ave., Main Floor
  • Etobicoke Civic Centre, 399 The West Mall, Main Floor
  • Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Dr., Main Floor
