DJ/Producer Calvin Harris is back with a brand new single and it features Mississauga, Ontario’s PartyNextDoor; the song is called, ‘Nuh Ready Nuh Ready’.

Before listening to the record and judging solely by the song’s title, I immediately assumed it would have a reggae-infused sound to it and definitely does.

Calvin sat down with Zane Lowe of Apple Music’s Beats 1 about the new record.

The last we heard from Calvin was his project, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, which featured tracks like, ‘Feels’ (with Katy Perry, Pharrell and Big Sean) and ‘Slide’ (with Frank Ocean and Migos).

According to Calvin, don’t expect his next sonic direction to sound anything like his previous project,

I love this sound with PartyNextDoor for Calvin as it reminds me of another collaboration with an EDM star under the Mississauga native’s belt, his song, ‘Run Up’ with Major Lazer and Nicki Minaj.
