Have you ever taken an Uber home after a long night of drinking? Probably.

Have you ever regretted spending too much money the next morning? Probably.

Have you ever spent $1600 on an Uber ride and then tried to crowdfund your way out of the situation? Probably not… but that’s exactly what this guy is trying to do!

New Jersey native Kenny Bachman was out for a rowdy night with his pals in West Virginia, but when he went to order an Uber, he didn’t update the information to where he was staying, instead choosing the “home” option—a.k.a. his actual home in New Jersey, nearly 300 miles away.

Kenny, like any drunk bro, fell asleep in the Uber. When he awoke 2 hours later, he had absolutely no idea where he was. Not only was Kenny on his way to New Jersey through expensive tolls, but he also ordered an Uber XL which can seat up to 6 and is far more expensive.

Bachman tried to fight Uber over the charge, but it was a no-go. So what was his next step? Instead of keeping quiet about his ride-of-shame, he started a GoFundMe—like any good millennial.

The comments on the GoFundMe have us cracking up. “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade! Way to make the best out of a expensive situation!” writes one user. “What happened to personal responsibility and accountability?” says another. “Grow up! Take responsibility for your actions,” says one particularly aggressive comment.

Should he just own up to his drunken behavior and pay the bill himself? Is the GoFundMe idea brilliant? Should Uber even charge him, since he was so drunk? What do you think?
