I can honestly say I’m not mentally prepared for this documentary.  I remember the day news broke about Paul Walker’s passing – I cried because he was such an amazing actor and did so much for those in need of help and was taken way too soon.

It’s been five years since the passing of Paul Walker and to this day, his memory lives on and is best known for his iconic role, Brian O’Conner from the Fast and Furious franchise.

A new documentary is in the works and will air on the Paramount Network next month.  The documentary will include interviews from Paul’s family members, his siblings Caleb, Cody and Ashlie and will also include interviews with directors Paul previously worked with in the past and co-starts, like Tyrese Gibson.

According to Cosmopolitan, “The documentary discusses Walker’s tendency to be “one foot in, one foot out” of Hollywood, preferring to focus on his family and spend time outdoors. “My daughter, my surfing — that’s the life and that’s what I care about,” The Fast and the Furious director Rob Cohen says Walker would tell him.”

His brother, Caleb, is the documentary’s executive producer and talks about Paul’s work as a philanthropist and how he helped rebuild Haiti after its earthquake.

Paul passed away in 2013 after the Porsche he and a friend were riding in lost total control and burst into immediate flames.  His friend and co-star, Tyrese Gibson once said, “If you loved him the way we did, you would say, well, why him and not us?”
