Huge congrats goes out to Cardi B!

Cardi B just won the GRAMMY for ‘Best Rap Album’ for Invasion of Privacy and makes major music history by becoming the first female solo winner to take home an award for ‘Best Rap Album.’  This is Cardi’s first GRAMMY win and her seventh nomination.

Her husband Offset joined Cardi on stage while accepting her GRAMMY.  Cardi shared, “The nerves are so bad! Maybe I need to smart smoking weed,” as she tried to hold back tears.  Cardi also gave a shout out to her baby Kulture, “I want to thank my daughter. I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter, it’s because when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete.  We were like, ‘We have to get this album done so I could still do videos while I’m still not showing. And it was very long nights.”

However, following her acceptance speech, Ariana Grande tweeted out a series of tweets that had many fans asking, “Is Ariana shading Cardi B? And if so, why?” Ariana tweeted, “Literal bullsh*t,” “Bullsh*t,” “F**k” and “Trash.”

So why the hate, Ariana? Could it be because Offset shared Cardi B’s winning moment? Or could it be because Mac Miller was also nominated in the same category for ‘Swimming?’ When fans began to call out Ariana on Twitter, in now-deleted responses, this is what Ariana had to say about the situation.
