Ariana Grande absolutely SLAYED her Coachella Weekend 1 headlining performance on Sunday night!

A stage as big as Coachella meant that Ariana was going to bring out more than just her biggest hits, but I don’t think anyone could have predicted the first surprise guests she brought onstage…none other than NSYNC!

Within three songs of her performance, Ari told her screaming fans, “I’ve been practicing my whole life for this moment! I could die now.”

Together, Ariana and NYSNC performed ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’ followed by ‘Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored’ which they created a mashup and added in another NSYNC classic, ‘It Makes Me Ill.’

Following her NSYNC performance and as per Billboard, “Grande continued with a few more songs off of Sweetener and an interlude featuring audio from Goldie Hawn in The First Wives Club (“You think just because I’m a movie star, I don’t have feelings. Well you’re wrong…I have feelings!”), when Nicki Minaj appeared onstage to perform “Side to Side” and “Bang Bang” with Grande. Despite technical difficulties with Minaj’s mic, the two worked up the crowd with the help of a small brigade of backup dancers that paraded around the stage’s runway.  Grande next performed “7 Rings,” featuring a car with an “Arichella” tag, as well as a heartfelt rendition of “Breathin’” accompanied by a live orchestra. After changing into a pale blue chiffon outfit, she performed her Childish Gambino collaboration “Break Your Heart Right Back,” including all of Childish Gambino’s vocal parts.”

Most of NYSNC performed alongside Ariana, all expect Justin (because he’s still on tour).

Following the performance, Justin showed love to Ari and his former bandmates.  In a new Instagram photo, Justin writes, “You guys killed it last night.”  His comment was noticed by Chris Kirkpatrick who responded with, “Was a lot of fun but @justintimberlake was [definitely] missed! Love you brother.”

NSYNC wasn’t the only surprised guests that joined Ariana – so did Diddy and Mase!

Together, they performed ‘Mo Money Mo Problems,’ a Badboy classic and dedicated their performance to Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller.  While on stage, Diddy explained, “My sister has been through a lot, but she’s still standing!” Entertainment Tonight’s Twitter page published a video, which can be seen below.
