It’s been said since last night, Kyle Lowry came in HOT! Lowry opened the game with an 8-0 scoring run and by the end of the first quarter, he had 21 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Prior to the game, coach Nick Nurse said, “This is a strong minded, tough-a** group of guys.  It really is.”  Nick ain’t lying!

And it was Leonard who saved the day – with 9.6 seconds left in the game, a Danny Green turnover had given Golden State a chance at game 7 but when Stephen Curry missed his powerful 3-point shot and the team was given a technical foul for calling a timeout they didn’t have, Kawhi stepped up and it was his last free throw that put the Raptors one step closer to victory.

Kawhi also won the MVP award, “Obviously I didn’t come out in this series trying to win it.  It was a whole group collectively.  Tonight Fred played amazing in that fourth.  Kyle played amazing tonight throughout the whole game.  Pascal played big.  I just kept striving and pushing and I ended up with the trophy, but everybody deserves it.”
