The city of Toronto will come together on Monday to celebrate the Raptors winning their FIRST ever NBA championship!

Who will cover the parade?

  • Roz & Mocha will be broadcasting live from the parade starting at 9am on KiSS 92.5
  • Full live coverage will be on CityNews.ca and 680NEWS.com.
  • Citytv and Sportsnet will be broadcasting the parade.
  • Citytv’s Dina Pugliese will be hosting the parade along with Tim and Sid from Sportsnet.
  • OMNI Television will have multilingual coverage of the celebrations.

 

Parade Route

  • Parade departs Princes’ Gate at 10 a.m.
  • East on Lakeshore Boulevard to York Street
  • North on York Street
  • North on University Avenue
  • Enter Nathan Phillips Square via Queen Street at 12:30 p.m.

Parade Times

  • 10am – Parade departs Princes’ Gates (Exhibition Place)
  • 12:30pm – Parade arrives at Nathan Phillips Square
  • 12:30pm to 1:30pm  – Championship celebration at Nathan Phillips Square

 

According to City News, “The parade will feature open-air double decker buses carrying the team with the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. It will then arrive at Nathan Phillips Square for the fan rally, which will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.  A parade viewing party will also be held at Coronation Park, located at 711 Lakeshore Blvd. W.”

Mayor John Tory writes, “Come out Monday for our @Raptors #NBAChampionship Parade! The celebrations will start at 10:00am from Exhibition Place, Princes’ Gates, run along Lakeshore, north on York and University Ave to Queen St W to Nathan Philips Square. Road closures and restrictions will be in effect as early as 9:00am.”
