What a year it has been.

It all started with a controversial trade of the Toronto Raptors most popular player, Demar DeRozan that brought a lot of uncertainty to the franchise, most notably in the form of Kawhi Leonard.

Much of that doubt arose because reports indicated that he wasn’t thrilled about coming to Toronto…

Then, he spoke at his first Raptors press conference and it brought us this glorious moment…

The regular season began and he missed 20 games due to “load management” to protect his body and keep him healthy for the playoffs and boy oh boy did that work out well…

In his first (and hopefully not last) season in Toronto, Kawhi Leonard took the franchise to a place it had never been before by helping us win our first NBA championship and we are forever grateful to him for it.

Now, how do we get him to stay?!?!
