BRING OUT THE FUNFETTI CAKE & ALL THE FOODS BECAUSE THE SITUATION IS OFFICIALLY A FREE MAN!

After serving 8 months at a prison in Otisville, New York for ‘one count of tax evasion,’ Mike ‘The Situation’ along with his wife, Lauren, have issued a statement to the public.  The statement, which was posted on Mike’s Insta-story reads, “We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life … we look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby Situations! We truly believe that the comeback is always greater than the setback.”

According to Pop Crush, “Following his emancipation, Sorrentino will be expected to complete 500 hours of community service, as well as reportedly pay $123,913 in restitution and a fine of $10,000.”

Lauren then posted a photo on the Gram – a photo from the iconic movie Goodfellas when Karen (Lorraine Bracco) waits by her car as Henry (Ray Liotta) gets released from jail.  She used the word “Mood” to caption her photo.  #SoFrigginCute
