Some GREAT news right here – Adam Lamberg who played the character of Gordo is returning for the Lizzi McGuire revival, which will be available on Disney +!

Hilary Duff, who is the star and executive producer of the revival says, “Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and beloved.  I couldn’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie’s adult world.”  David ‘Gordo’ Green played Lizzie’s best friend on the original series and his character is described as ‘observant, creative and intelligent.’

To celebrate the news, Hilary posted a video (which can be viewed above) and also a photo on Instagram with the caption, “I feels [sic] so basic saying something that’s been shouted at me almost my whole life buuuut …. hey now, hey now.”  And rumour has it, the crew has already begun filming.
