Ariana Grande’s ‘God Is A Woman’ originally belonged to … Camila Cabello!

In case this may have slipped your memory – back in 2018, a snippet of Camila’s ‘God Is A Woman’ demo leaked online.  During her SiriusXM interview, Camila revealed to Andy Cohen that the hit record was originally for her but eventually, she passed it onto Ariana, “I think they had the chorus for the song and then I wrote verses to it, but it just didn’t end up sounding right for me. So she and everybody wrote her version and it sounded amazing.”

Andy also asked Camila if she would ever collaborate with Ariana, “I would love that! I love her! She’s my friend.  She’s really sweet. We’ll just kind of check on each other and be like, ‘how are you doing?’ Or she’ll posting something about how she’s doing great mentally and emotionally through Instagram and I’ll be like, ‘I’m so happy for you.'”

‘God is a Woman’ became a massive hit for Ariana – reaching No.8 on the Billboard charts and the video being viewed more than 250 million times on YouTube.
