Earlier in the week, Katy Perry stopped by Australia’s the Fifi, Fev & Byron radio show to discuss her pregnancy.

Katy shared, “I was that girl, or am still that girl, that had that box, the baby clothes before there was the thought or even an Orlando Bloom.  I think, definitely, everything’s changing. I wasn’t ready a couple years ago, and I did the work to get ready and now I’m really ready…It’s just time for me, and it’s the right time.”

 

 

 

 

Katy announced her pregnancy through her most recent music video for ‘Never Worn White,’ released earlier this month.

 

 

 

 

Katy then stopped by an Australian TV show called ‘The Project’ and for the first time on live TV, performed her new single.

Afterwards, Katy joined the panel of hosts and was asked how she was able to hide the news for as long as she did, “I’m definitely in it; there’s no hiding it and no passing it off as, like, you know, just a breakfast burrito.  I’ve always been a very curvy girl and I love to eat, so there had been rumors in the past that people had thought that I was pregnant…and now, they’re right! They’re more than right, yes. These are not cookies in my belly.”  Watch Katy’s interview below.
