Beyonce's 'Halo' Reaches One Billion Views on YouTube!

Beyonce’s music video for her 2009 single, Halo, has officially reached one billion views on YouTube, making this Beyonce’s first music video to reach this milestone.

The single can be found off Beyonce’s ‘I Am … Sasha Fierce’ album, released in 2008.

The video follows Beyonce as she spends time with her onscreen love, played by actor, Michael Ealy and dances in front of a mirror as he watches her.  The video was directed by Philip Andelman.

According to Billboard, “The hit also did well on the Hot 100, spending 31 weeks on the chart and peaking at No. 5 on May 22, 2009.”
