North Carolina high school student Tyler Chitwood just ‘upped’ the ‘promposal’ game with this sweet gesture.

He’s been getting a ton of praise online for the way he asked Adriana Fernandez to be his date for their Cuthbertson High School prom.

He channeled the 2009 animated movie Up by tying balloons to a keyboard (much like the one’s in Carl Fredricksen’s house in the film), sat inside her garage awaiting Adriana’s arrival and played the main theme from the movie.

He told The Huffington Post,  “I knew that prom was coming up in a few weeks so i had to act fast…One night, my date and I were watching the movie ‘Up’ and she kept telling me how much she LOVED the song. I ended up already knowing how to play it on piano so I was like, ‘hey! This is perfect!’”

Thankfully, Adriana said ‘YES!’ and the two will head to prom on April 22nd!

His video has been retweeted over 13,000 times and *liked* over 31,000.
