Seven iconic costumes worn by pop princess Britney Spears are currently up for auction, with potential buyers willing to spend $100, 000 for the complete collection.

 

All items included are outfits that were once worn by Britney.  The outfits are from Britney’s ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’ 2001 MTV Video Music Awards performance, the ‘I’m A Slave 4 U’ music video, ‘Me Against The Music’ video featuring Madonna, a 2008 custom made Versace Atillier dress, an outfit from her Superbowl performance with Areosmith and many more.

With only 2 days left, there has been 188 bids, the current bid is up to $99, 995 and all items come with authenticity certificates.

 

When Marilyn Monroe’s most famous dress was auctioned off (the one she wore when she sang ‘Happy Birthday, Mr. President’) it was sold for $4.8 million, making it a world-record price for an auction.

On the Britney listing on Ebay, the owner says that he / she has been collecting the outfits since 2003 when Britney had auctioned them off.  Currently, the collection sits on a display in the Surfco Swimwear storefront window at the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta.
