It’s been 15 years since the OG Bachelor, Alex Michel, stepped out of the infamous limo to meet the first batch of women vying for his heart. Like many Bachelors and Bachelorettes to come, Michel did not find his wife-to-be on the highly addictive reality show. In fact, only 10 out of 44 official* couples from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor Pad, The Bachelor Canada and The Bachelorette Canada are still together today. Peep our full gallery to find out the fate of every single Bachelor couple in franchise history, from the shortest hook-up to everlasting love.

*We’re not counting post-show hook-ups among Bachelor Nation members, otherwise this gallery would have a BAJILLION slides

The Bachelorette premieres Monday May 22 at 8:00 EST on City.

Brad Womack & Nobody: N/A
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 11
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A
What went down at the finale? Brad Womack was the first and only Bachelor to straight up reject BOTH women at the final Rose Ceremony.
Where are they now? Womack decided to give the show another try and returned as the Bachelor in season 15, and this time actually proposed to finalist Emily Maynard; they broke up shortly after. He’s still single.

Jen Schefft & Nobody: N/A
Show + Season: The Bachelorette, Season 3
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? Taking a page out of the Brad Womack playbook, Jen Schefft was the first Bachelorette to reject both proposals at the finale. Although she did *technically* tell “winner” Jerry Ferris she wanted to give things a shot, their relationship didn’t really go anywhere after the show.
Where are they now? Schefft is now married and has two daughters.

Jason Mesnick & Melissa Rycroft: N/A
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 13
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? We swear we aren’t over-exaggerating, Chris Harrison-style, when we say this was THE MOST DRAMATIC SEASON FINALE EVER. Jason Mesnick proposed to Melissa Rycroft at the final Rose Ceremony, only to break up with her and confess his love for runner-up Molly Malaney on After the Final Rose.
Where are they now? Mesnick is still married to Malaney and they have two children together. Rycroft is also married with three kids and apparently hasn’t spoken a word to Mesnick since the ATFR split!

Travis Lane Stork & Sarah Stone: 1 Week
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 8
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? Although emergency physician Travis Lane Stork didn’t put a Neil Lane sparkler on Sarah Stone’s finger, the couple did decide to keep dating after the finale.
Where are they now? It’s probably best they didn’t get engaged since—no shocker here—the couple didn’t even make it to the airing of After the Final Rose. Travis has since married a pediatrician and co-hosts the daytime talk show The Doctors. Stone is married with two daughters.

Bob Guiney & Estella Gardinier: 1 Month
Show and Season: The Bachelor, Season 4
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? The formerly divorced Bachelor didn’t propose to Estella Gardinier. Instead, he offered her a promise ring and she accepted.
Where are they now? It’s rumoured that Guiney broke up with Gardinier via phone call just one month later (guess that promise ring didn’t promise a whole lot). Guiney was briefly married to All My Children actress Rebecca Budig and just got married again last November. As for Gardinier, we’re not really sure what she’s up to now as it seems she’s fallen right off the Bachelor map.

Jesse Palmer & Jessica Bowlin: 1 Month
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 5
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? Jesse Palmer didn’t propose to winner Jessica Bowlin, but the New York Giants backup quarterback did give her a one-way ticket (literally) to join him in NYC.
Where are they now? Palmer and Bowlin split just one month after the finale. The former Bachelor is now a Canadian sports commentator and Bowlin is married with two children.

Aaron Buerge & Helene Eksterowicz: 5 Weeks
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 2
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? Aaron Buerge actually went the distance and bought his own engagement ring on his season, rather than picking out one of the infamous Neil Lane rings paid for by the show.
Where are they now? Unfortunately, the couple split after just five weeks but later teamed up to sell the 2.78-carat diamond ring together on eBay. Buerge is now married with two kids; Eksterowicz is also married.

Samantha Steffen & Nick Peterson: 2 Months
Show + Season: Bachelor in Paradise, Season 2
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? Samantha Steffen turned out to be the villain on season two of Paradise after causing a v. dramatic love triangle but eventually she hit it off with Nick Peterson. The couple didn’t get engaged in the finale but decided to continue their relationship off-screen.
Where are they now? The couple broke it off shortly after the show aired. According to the sad-face selfie Peterson posted on his Insta page to announce the split, the distance (Cali to Florida) was just “too tough.” From a quick look at Steffen’s Instagram account, it looks like she’s single and pursuing a modeling career. And Peterson (who appeared on The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad and Bachelor in Paradise) is also single and continues to milk his Bachelor Nation fame. *Insert all the eye roll emojis*

Chris Soules & Whitney Bischoff: 2 Months
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 19
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? This one was pretty bland, TBH. Iowa farmer Chris Soules proposed to city girl Whitney Bischoff in the finale and we all totally knew she wouldn’t be down for the boonies.
Where are they now? Bischoff is currently living in Chicago with her fiancé, and their adorbs couple pics on Insta srsly make us green with envy. On a much sadder and more serious note, Chris Soules was recently involved in a fatal hit-and-run. His arraignment is set for May 23.

Matt Grant & Shayne Lamas: 2 Months
Show and Season: The Bachelor, Season 12
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? British Bachelor Matt Grant’s parents grilled Shayne Lamas so hard we were surprised she actually accepted his proposal. But she did have one condition: “That you will never look at another woman for the rest of our lives. Because you have looked at way too many during our relationship.” Seems reasonable.
Where are they now? The couple called it quits just two months after the finale (maybe Grant couldn’t fix his wandering eye?). According to his Twitter account, the former Bachelor is now a “Daddy & Director” and he just got engaged to a British woman (guess the American gals just didn’t do it for him). Lamas is now married to Internet personality Nik Richie and the couple, who have two children together, just celebrated their seven-year anniversary in April.

Lorenzo Borghese & Jennifer Wilson: 2 Months
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 9
Engaged? No
Actually got married? N/A

What went down at the finale? Italian “prince” Lorenzo Borghese didn’t propose to finalist Jennifer Wilson in the season finale but he did offer her a family ring that his mother designed.
Where are they now? The couple split just two months after the final episode aired and…here comes the major dramz—Borghese went on to date his runner-up, Sadie Murray, for a hot minute. Borghese has since appeared on a few low-grade reality TV shows and published a historical romance novel called The Princess of Nowhere, based on the life of his relative Pauline Bonaparte. We have zero clue whether or not Jennifer Wilson is still single.

Lace Morris & Grant Kemp: 2 Months
Show + Season: Bachelor in Paradise, Season 3
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? Lace Morris and Grant Kemp hit it off almost immediately on season three of Bachelor in Paradise (after Lace got over all that Chad weirdness of course). Not only did they get engaged at the finale, but they also got matching “Grace” (Grant + Lace, duh) tattoos.
Where are they now? The couple split just a couple months after the season aired and Kemp has since covered up his tattoo with a black rose (ouch!). And just like literally every other member of Bachelor Nation, they’re both making money off their Bachelor franchise fame via social media and guest appearances.

Nick Viall & Vanessa Grimaldi: 2 Months (And Counting)
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 21
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? Not yet

What went down at the finale? The most recent Bachelor, Nick Viall, chose Canadian babe Vanessa Grimaldi at his final Rose Ceremony. The whole thing was pretty predictable, drama-free and—we’ll be the first to say it—booooring.
Where are they now? The couple are currenttly living together in L.A. and documenting their love on Instagram. We’re a little skeptical—they honestly didn’ t seem *that* happy on After the Final Rose—but what do we know? We were skeptical of JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers too, and they’re still crazy in love and just celebrated their first anniversary.

Brad Womack & Emily Maynard: 3 Months, On and Off
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 15
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? After returning for a second shot at love, Brad Womack finally proposed to Emily Maynard.
Where are they now? The couple broke up shortly after the finale. According to Maynard’s tell-all book I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love the two-time Bachelor CC’d her in an email to show producers saying things didn’t work out and that was that. WHAT THE ACTUAL F? Womack went on to briefly date former Bachelor contestant AshLee Frazier but the two also broke up. As we’ve already mentioned, dude’s still single and Maynard is now happily married and busy with her adorbs family.

Emily Maynard & Jef Holm: 3 Months
Show + Season: The Bachelorette, Season 8
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? After her failed relationship with Brad Womack, Emily Maynard returned as the season 8 Bachelorette. She let runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr. go before the final Rose Ceremony and accepted winner Jef Holm’s proposal (even thought she said she didn’t want to—red flag much?).
Where are they now? Maynard is now married to a man she met at church and (in addition to her first daughter, Ricki) has two young kids with him. Meanwhile, Jef Holm continues to be one of the biggest Bachelor f-ck boys and is currently living in the ultimate bro-house with former Bachelorette contestants Robby Hayes and Chase McNary.

Jake Pavelka & Vienna Girardi: 4 months
Show + Season: The Bachelor, Season 14
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? The finale of “On the Wings of Love” was actually pretty annoying and we all threw some major eye-rolls when Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka proposed to the villain of the season, Vienna Girardi.
Where are they now? The two found themselves in a v. ugly he-said-she-said split a few months after the finale aired and during their post-breakup interview with Chris Harrison they decided to act like grown ups and throw aaallll the insults at each other (“Famewhore!” “Child!” “Biggest fake liar I have ever met”). The reality-TV addicts both attempted to milk their Bachelor fame and weasle their way on to other TV shows (like DWTS and Bachelor Pad) but never found their big break. The still-single former Bachelor continues to be a pilot. Oh, and apparently is friends with our girl JoJo? As for Girardi (who had a quickie relationship with former Bachelor contestant Kasey Kahl), she just got engaged to her hunky race car BF last year.

Amanda Stanton & Josh Murray: 4 Months, on and off
Show + Season: Bachelor in Paradise, Season 3
Engaged? Yes
Actually got married? No

What went down at the finale? After winning season 10 of The Bachelorette and going through a v. public breakup with ex-fiancée Andi Dorfman, Josh Murray (a.k.a the WORST kisser ever) came to Paradise and met total sweetheart Amanda Stanton. Despite rumours that Murray was emotionally abusive in his past relationships, Stanton accepted Murray’s proposal and welcomed him into her family.
Where are they now? Since leaving Paradise engaged, Stanton and Murray have had one of the most confusing/dramz-filled ’ships that the Bachelor franchise has ever created. As soon as the finale aired the couple confirmed that they were living together in California, but then broke things off a few months later. It looked like they might have been reconciling in February when they were caught spending time together and kissing in L.A., but when it was later reported that Murray called the cops on Stanton to retrieve a car he gifted her while they were together, it was pretty obvious that they weren’t getting back together, ever. As for what they’re up to now, Stanton is still single and raising her two incredibly presh daughters in California. And in addition to trying to fix his shattered reputation, Murray is single and kickin’ it with his Bachelor Nation bros.
