There are Huey Lewis fans, and then there’s Michael Feld, a ginger-haired gentleman who decided to visit all 14 cities mentioned in Lewis’ hit song “The Heart of Rock and Roll.”

All told, Feld traveled 12,000 miles, taking 11 planes, four trains and five automobiles to New York, Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; San Antonio; Philadelphia (“Liberty Town”); Boston; Baton Rouge; Tulsa; Austin; Oklahoma City; Seattle; San Francisco; Cleveland (where the heart is!); and Detroit. “There’s really something about Huey Lewis and his music that made everyone smile when I told them what I was doing,” Feld told Gothamist after positing a music video of his trip online.
