It looks like beef between two of music’s biggest names might be coming to an end as Katy Perry revealed that she’s ready to make bygones be bygones with Taylor Swift.

In a brand new interview with Ariana Huffington on the Thrive Global Podcast that she’s tired of the beef.

Katy said, “I am ready to let it go… forgive her and I’m sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I think it’s actually like, I think it’s time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I’m saying?”

Katy went a step further, wishing her long-time “rival” nothing but the best,

“I love her, and I want the best for her…And I think she’s a fantastic songwriter, and I think that if we, both her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences, I think the whole world is going to go like, ‘Yeah, well we can do this.’ I don’t know. Maybe I don’t agree with everything she does and she doesn’t agree with everything I do, but I just really, truly want to come together in a place of love and forgiveness and understanding and compassion… God bless her on her journey. God bless her. Honestly.”

This isn’t Katy’s first time saying that she would rather unite and build with Taylor than feud with her.

Last month, she told SiriusXM,I am ready, because I think when women unite, the world is going to heal…I don’t have any beef really with anyone. I love everyone, and honestly I love everyone and I think we need to unite more than ever. I think we see that today especially, like we need to come together and love on each other today. Don’t matter where you come from, don’t matter what you believe, don’t matter which music you like the most, we are the same and we need to be unified.”

It is long believed that Taylor’s song, ‘Bad Blood’ is about Katy Perry, a fact that wasn’t lost on Katy when she spoke to James Corden on The Late Late Show, “It’s about 3 backing dancers that went on tour with her tour and they asked me before they went on tour if they could go…And I was like, yeah of course, I’m not on a record cycle and get the work and she’s great but I will be on a record cycle in about a year, so be sure to put a 30-day contingency in your contract so you can get out if you want to join me when I say I’m going back on.”

He added, “So that year came up and I texted all of them because I’m very close with them and said, look, just FYI, I’m about to start, I want to put the word out there…They said OK, we’re going to talk to management about it and they did and they got fired.”

I am all for Katy and Taylor uniting and burying the hatchet and maybe even collaborate on a song together?

We shall see!
