Ed Sheeran hit the stage tonight at the Air Canada Centre and completely KILLED his performance while melting every single heart in attendance!

James Blunt opened for his good friend and drinking buddy Ed with a beautiful performance, and got the crowd ready to party!

This was Ed’s first time performing his Divide album in Toronto and he did not disappoint. Not only did he play all of his new songs, old songs, BUT he also played covers including ‘Love Yourself’ by Justin Bieber.

Fun Fact: Ed Sheeran actually wrote ‘Love Yourself’ for Justin Bieber.

As soon as we walked into the show we noticed that the everyone in attendance was on their feet, had their hands in the air, and were singing along to every song.

Throughout Ed’s performance he kept engaging with his devoted Toronto fans letting them all know how grateful he was for all the love and support they have given him.

Yes, Ed gave us major feels and maybe even had us all shed a tear or two… But the light show and visuals were UNBELIEVABLE! From fire scenes, forest backgrounds, to whales flying around in the galaxy, let’s just say his background visuals were just as entertaining as his performance!!

At the end of this mind blowing experience, we had the chance to talk to some of Ed’s most dedicated fans… Here is what they had to say about tonight’s show!

Hard to imagine Ed topping his performance tonight, but he’ll get the chance to do so as he takes the stage at the ACC tomorrow night for night two!

If you can’t make it to the show tomorrow night, or if you just can’t get enough Ed (who can blame you right?), tune in to the Ed Sheeran After Party tomorrow night on KiSS 92.5 after the show!
