Twitter is Considering Upgrading From 140 Characters to a Reasonable 10,000

Twitter is thinking about making some BIG changes. Reports are saying that Twitter is thinking of expanding their 140 character limit to 10,000. Well that escalated quickly.
Twitter has not officially set a launch date of when the upgrade will be happening, it’s believed to be sometime toward the end of March. According to Re/Code, the company is currently testing different features, they’re looking to keep the same 140 character feel. But POSSIBLY adding a “more content” option.

The upgrade is going to be a lot like the Direct Message limit of 10,000 characters.

I don’t think it’s a great idea… let’s just save the 10,000 characters for the creeps that are trying to…

Let’s not give Twitter more ammo.
