Pink Donates $500, 000 to Hurricane Harvey Relief

On August 25, a very devastating storm hit Houston, Texas and destroyed dozens of other surrounding cities and at least 44 people have passed away and since then, celebrities have donated money to help those in need.  Celebrities such as Drake, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Tyler Perry, Kevin Hart and many more.  New to the list of donators is Pink and she recently donated $500,000 to Red Cross in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

Red Cross later confirmed on Twitter and even thanked the singer in a tweet:

Thank you @Pink from the bottom of our ?? for your donation of a half million dollars to @RedCross #HurricaneHarvey relief efforts!

The Red Cross posted a video of their volunteers wearing their signature red shirts yelling, “Thank you, Pink!” and even blowing kisses at the camera.  The organization wrote, “We’re partial to red, but pink is great, too. Thank you @Pink for your generous donation to our #HurricaneHarvey relief efforts.”

Their website reads, “The American Red Cross is working around the clock along the Gulf Coast to help the thousands of people whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Harvey.”
