During Katy Perry’s opening night of ‘Witness: The Tour’ in Montreal, Katy covered Janet Jackson’s 1986 hit, ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately’.

Katy channeled her inner Janet by putting her spin on Janet’s choreography from her famous 1987 GRAMMYs performance where she sported a black and white outfit.

During the first tour stop, Katy performed 20 of her greatest hits with at least six different costume changes during the concert.

Witness: The Tour was originally set to take off on Sept. 7 in Columbus, Ohio unfortunately, the show was postponed at a later date all due to ‘production delays’.

In a statement, Katy explains, “Due to unavoidable production delays, major elements of my tour stage design could not be available for me to rehearse on until this week. I’ll be spending the next few weeks taking the time to properly prepare the show to be an experience I am proud to share with you. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but hope everyone who sees the show will agree it was worth the wait.”
