Internet Attacks CFL Player for Tweeting Out Star Wars Spoiler

When Michael Sam tweeted out a Star Wars spoiler over the weekend, the internet reacted by understanding his mistake and saying it was okay because he didn’t ruin the movie for possibly millions of people… No, they reacted as you would expect the internet to react, by ripping him apart with thousands of vicious tweets.

Michael Sam is a former NFL player and current player for the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes. He can now also add ruiner of Star Wars to his resumé. On December 18th, he tweeted out a Star Wars spoiler. When he had realized what he had done, he quickly deleted it and tweeted out this:
