A Source Says The Weeknd Still Loves Ex-Girlfriend, Bella Hadid

Well, I mean … it only makes sense since Selena Gomez did it.

The Weeknd was recently spotted leaving ex-girlfriend, Bella Hadid’s New York City apartment and fans are now wondering, is Abel and Bella back on?

This is the relationship breakdown …

In the beginning of 2015, Bella and Abel began dating and were first seen together at Coachella in April of the same year.  Bella starred in Abel’s music video for ‘In The Night’ in 2015 and together, made a red carpet appearance at the 2016 Grammys in February.  It was November 2016 that the couple called it quits because of ‘conflicting schedules’.

Shortly after, not even two months after actually, The Weeknd was spotted in L.A. with … Selena Gomez and the pair called it quits 10 months later.  Less than three weeks have passed.  Selena is now rumoured to be back with her ex, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd was spotted at Bella’s home in NYC.

According to E! News, multiple sources have confirmed that Abel and Bella have been hanging out lately and according to these sources, their feelings are mutual and love still does exist.

“Bella and Abel have been in contact since Abel and Selena split, but they are not back together.  Abel reached out to Bella asking to hang out and catch up, and she decided to see him and see where things go. She knows that if they don’t date again, they can at least be good friends,”  the source says.  The source adds, “They enjoy each other’s company and have a lot of fun together.”

However, another close source reveals, “He has expressed to her that he loves her still, and they will always have a real connection.  He also apologized for hurting her in the past.  She still loves him but has her guard up. She never really got over him.  She is not looking to be exclusive with him now, just to be his friend. His schedule won’t allow him to stay focused on her—she knows this from past experience. She also knows he is talking to a few girls still. She reads what is put out in the news and that affects her.  She is stronger this time around.  She would give Abel another try, maybe down the road, but is taking small steps before she jumps back into a relationship.”Another insider confirmed, “She still loves him, but she is keeping her options open.”
