How about the Cracker Challenge?

Well, now there’s a new, really messed up one called the ‘Tide Pod Challenge’.

But yes it’s true, tens of thousands of people – a vast majority of them being teenagers – have begun a disturbing new trend of chewing on Tide capsules. Yes, Tide, as in the laundry detergent.

Needless to say, this is an incredible dangerous and stupid thing to do and can result in vomiting, choking, and yes, you can even die.

Last year in the US, poison control centres reported over 10,000 exposures to packs of laundry detergent.

Health Canada have asked parents that if their child or anyone they know have taken part in the ‘Tide Pod Challenge’, that they immediately call 911 or contact a Poison Control Centre.
