Selena Gomez & Zayn Malik Are Rumoured to Collaborate On A Track for 'Aladdin'

Disney has officially found its Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie for the upcoming ‘Aladdin’ live-action remake.  According to Disney, the movie will hit theatres May 24, 2019 and along with the movie, rumour has it that Selena Gomez and Zayn (One Direction) are planning on a collaboration for the film’s soundtrack.

It all started after a tweet was published from one of Selena Gomez’s fan accounts and was claiming that the two pop stars will be teaming up for a duet.  As of right now, these are just rumours but how cool would a collab sound from Selena and Zayn?

Once word got out about the rumour, Twitter fans went crazy and although the majority are wishing for this to be true, others are not buying it.  Now If it is true, sources say that they will be performing the films lead song, ‘A Whole New World’.

According to Variety, “‘Aladdin’ was the highest-grossing film of the year in 1992, and won Academy Awards for best score and best song for “A Whole New World.”  The movie will be directed by Guy Ritchie.
